About Ium Hazi Vein Clinic

Ium Hazi Vein Clinic is a specialized clinic dedicated to the treatment of varicose veins and venous conditions.
It was established with a clear purpose: to provide a level of care where patients can feel truly confident and safe when entrusting their legs to medical professionals.
The name '이음(Ium)' represents connection—referring to the restoration of healthy legs to daily life, the trust between patient and medical professional, and the ability for patients to return to meaningful moments with their loved ones.

Clinical Philosophy

Today, medical information is easily accessible, and many clinics offer treatment for varicose veins. However, finding care that is genuinely appropriate for each individual is not always straightforward. In some cases, patients may be advised to undergo procedures that are not strictly necessary, or may feel uncomfortable in impersonal, high-volume treatment environments.
This clinic places primary emphasis on honest diagnosis.
Each treatment plan is determined based on careful evaluation of the patient’s condition. A fundamental principle is consistently applied: if the patient were a member of one’s own family, would the same recommendation be made?
Surgical procedures are recommended only when clinically necessary, while cases that can be managed through conservative treatment and ongoing care are guided accordingly.
This approach is intended to help patients make informed decisions without concern for unnecessary intervention.

Treatment Approach

The clinic aims not only to relieve physical symptoms, but also to improve the overall quality of life following treatment.
In addition to addressing the underlying cause of pain, attention is given to achieving balanced and refined postoperative outcomes, allowing patients to return to daily activities with greater comfort and confidence.

Experience & Expertise

With over 15 years of experience dedicated exclusively to varicose vein treatment, more than 6,800 cases of saphenous vein procedures have been performed.
All stages of care—including examination, consultation, and surgical treatment—are directly managed by the lead surgeon, ensuring consistency and accountability throughout the process.
The clinic also maintains active involvement in academic and professional societies, contributing to the advancement of clinical standards in varicose vein treatment.

Clinic Values

Rather than adopting a high-volume treatment model, the clinic focuses on individualized care for each patient.
The goal is to achieve stable, long-term outcomes with a low rate of recurrence, while providing a level of care that patients can trust.
Ium Hazi Vein Clinic is positioned not only as a place for treatment, but as a medical institution that supports patients in regaining comfort, confidence, and continuity in their daily lives.
