How do I know if LASEK is right for me?

LASEK (Laser-Assisted Subepithelial Keratectomy) is right for you if:

✅ You have thin corneas
LASEK is often recommended over LASIK for people with thinner corneas.

✅ You have a low to moderate degree of nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism

✅ You’re not eligible for LASIK
For example, due to lifestyle, eye structure, or medical history.

✅ You don’t mind a slightly longer recovery time
Compared to LASIK, LASEK has a longer healing period but less risk of flap-related complications.

✅ Your eyes are healthy
You should not have conditions like dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, cataracts, or retinal diseases.
