What is skin booster exactly?

Skin booster can be defined as everything that could enhance skin condition.

In aesthetic medicine, the term refers to injections and cosmetics containing active ingredients applied directly to the skin to enhance skin condition.

PN, the active ingredient of Rejuran Healer

Rejuran healer contains PN (polynucleotide), a component of DNA, extracted from salmons. Salmon is known to have DNA composition similar to that of humans.

When injected to the skin, PN works in the dermis to regenerate skin cells, improving its elasticity and reversing damage done. It is effective in treating acne scars and tightening pores. Brighter and smoother skin also can be expected.

PN is a rather long thread of DNA fragment, acting as a supporting structure while healing the skin. This enables prolonged duration compared to products containing shorter threads.

Rejuran Healer is very stable to heat and when used alone, no adverse effect has been reported yet.

Rejuran Healer vs. Filorga 135

Another well-known product in the same skin booster market is Filorga 135. It is composed of various ingredients including vitamins, antioxidants, nucleotides, minerals, amino acids, coenzymes, and hyaluronic acid. It is approved as a cosmetic and it is known to vitalize and moisturize skin conditions.

While both products share similar effects, Rejuran Healer is more focused on regeneration of skin cells, whereas Filorga 135 works on improving skin condition.

How is Rejuran Healer treated? How does it progress?

Small amounts of Rejuran healer is injected evenly over the targeted area. 2cc dosage is recommended for a session on the face, from eyebrows to chin. 3cc dosage is recommended to cover area from forehead to chin, and 2 to 4cc dosage should be used for neck wrinkles.

Within 2 to 5 days, skin will feel smoother with balanced hydration level.

After 2 to 4 weeks, skin elasticity will be enhanced, with reduced pores and lighter wrinkles.

In a month, a natural lift and slight increase in volume will be noticed.

Specialized products from Rejuran Healer!

Rejuran I® is specialized product for the eye area. To minimize pain while treating thin and sensitive skin around the eyes, Rejuran I® has lower density compared to Rejuran®.

Rejuran S® is for regeneration of scars. With denser composition, Rejuran S® stays longer in the targeted area to regenerate the skin cells.

How many sessions are needed for optimal results?

4 sessions of Rejuran Healer, 2 to 3 weeks in between each session, are best for maximum effect. However, treatment regimen is different for everyone and many patients are happy with the results after the first session. The result may not be as dramatic as single session of filler or botox, but natural improvement in overall skin condition can be expected. It is compatible with most other skin treatments at the same time.

Although Rejuran Healer is very akin to human skin, it may cause hyper-reaction when in contact with other substances. Treatment history should always be consulted with a doctor prior to the procedure.
